Associate a Notification with a Work Order

Overview

You must associate a notification with a Work Order (WO). Without this association, you cannot process or perform the work outlined in the notification. You can perform the WO association for an individual notification or in bulk for a list of notifications.

Before you start

A notification can be associated with a WO only if it meets the following conditions:

• It is not already associated with another work order.

• It is not in a validated or canceled status.

If a notification does not meet these conditions, the system will prevent the association.

Associate a Notification with a Work Order

To associate one or multiple notifications with a WO, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to Features > Notification Management > Search Notifications.

2. Search for the notification or notifications.

3. If you want to associate

   1. A single notification, select its row menu, and then select WO Association.

   2. Multiple notifications, select each notification, and then from the table’s menu, select WO Association.

4. Search for and select the WO that you want to associate.

5. Select Associate.
