Use direct future scheduling filter clauses

Define specific rules that are affected by a WO’s progression within the Direct Future Scheduling process. This works for system logic on:

  • Work order (WO) alerts

  • WO themes

  • Automatic scheduling

  • Saved Search

Prerequisites

Make sure you have administrative access to the configuration menus.

Create clauses and filters

  1. Navigate to the Configuration panel for the filter.

  2. Create a new filter or modify a current one.

  3. To refine your filtering criteria, select and configure one or more of the following clauses in the new window:

    • Direct Future Scheduling activities: Filter for WO/WO operations that respect the Direct Future Scheduling Identification Rule or have been manually included in the flow

      • Set the value to include or exclude them.

        • true: Includes Direct Future Scheduling WO/WO operations.

        • false: Excludes Direct Future Scheduling WO/WO operations.

    • Direct Future Scheduling State: Filter based on the current step or status of the WO operation within the Direct Future Scheduling workflow.

      • The status can be processed, in progress, or processed OK or KO.

      • Define the clause to match a specific state, like Direct Future Scheduling State = Processed KO

    • Direct Future Scheduling Processing Counter: Counts how many times the operation has been attempted by the Direct Future Scheduling task.

      • Set a conditional check on the attempted number, like Direct Future Scheduling Processing Counter > 3

      • The Direct Future Scheduling processing counter helps identify failures.

  4. To save the clause and the filter, click Save.
