You can set the default date that appears when you open the Daily Plan and Multi-day Plan. By configuring this setting, you can ensure that planners and dispatchers always start with the most relevant date for their work, either today or the next working day.
Prerequisites
You must have administrative permissions to change company-level settings.
Configure the Default Day
Follow these steps to set the default date:
-
Navigate to Company (Core > Technical Settings > Company).
-
Find the
company.fsm.dailyplan.defaultdayparameter. -
Set the value using one of these options:
-
Value = 1 (Default): The system automatically sets the date to the next working day. This is the default setting for all installations.
-
Value = 0: The system sets the date to today.
-
-
Save your changes to apply the new configuration.
Note: The system considers company holidays when it determines the next working day.
Next Steps
After you configure this parameter, every user who opens the Daily Plan or Multi-day Plan sees the default date you specified. This also affects the date shown when you switch between the two planning views.
