This page is focused on the Field execution module Configuration, answering to some questions:
-
Which work orders should be displayed in NextGen Geo?
-
In which zone (operation center) should they appear?
-
What is the time range for the work orders to be shown on the NextGen Geo map?
Before you start
-
You must have the field execution module activated.
-
You need to know how to configure the creation of a module “module_workorder” How to configure modules
Module configuration
The module has a dedicated “Configuration” tab used to configure:
|
Field |
Description |
|---|---|
|
Operation Center |
(multi-fields) Enables the selection of operation centers available in NextGen FSM via API. Note: Each operation center can be assigned to only one module at a time. |
|
Work Order Status |
(multi-select) Enables the selection of work order status available in NextGen FSM via API. |
|
Work Order Type |
(multi-select) Enables the selection of work order type available in NextGen FSM via API. |
|
Work Orders created in the last: |
(numeric) Used to define the time range of work orders to visualize in the map. It is based on the work order creation date. This value is delimited by the system property: fsm.maxWorkorderTTL ( more details:System Properties management) |
By clicking the “Save” button, the system will prompt you to confirm whether to begin importing data into NextGen Geo.
The import includes:
-
Technical objects from the selected operation centers
-
Work Orders
-
Work Order operations
At the end of the import, if it doesn't exist, the system creates a new zone for the selected Operational Center. If the Operational Center links to a structure missing in NextGen Geo, the system also creates that structure, maps it to a new zone, and links it to the new Operational Center.
To continue using the module, the user must have access to the module’s zone. For information on how to grant zone access, see User Configuration.
Please note: This process does not clone the full data from FSM. Instead, it creates a cache by importing only the relevant fields needed for activities within NextGen Geo.
