This topic explains how to create a Work Order from the map.
Before you start

Learn how to view work orders and technical objects data on the map: View Work Order and Technical Object on the map
View data on the map
Once the module is open:

Click on the “+ New WO” button.

Select the technical object to associate with the new work order.
You can do this from either the table or the map — both are synchronized.
Then, click “Add technical object to work order” to confirm. -
Fill out the work order form with the following information:

Work Order Type (mandatory) – populated via API

Start Date (mandatory)

End Date (mandatory)

Description (optional)
-
Notes (optional)
-
Duration (in minutes, optional)

Click “Set Operation” to add one or more operations, then select “Add new operation”.

For each operation, provide:

Operation Type – populated via API

Start Date (mandatory)

End Date (mandatory)

Default Duration (in minutes, optional)

Description (optional)

Notes (optional)

When all required fields are completed, click “Save new work order”.
At this point, NextGen Geo will send a creation request to NextGen FSM and receive the work order code in response.
Work orders in NextGen Geo are handled through events. This means the system will receive the creation event from FSM before caching the new work order in the system.
