Recording Bundle Outcomes

When you have finished the work required for a bundle, you must debrief the tasks and allocate your time. This guide explains how to use bulk-outcome features to save time and how to properly close the bundle using either manual or weighted time allocation for your operations.

  1. Record Task Outcomes in Bulk: Navigate to the Outcome page to log your results. To save time, use the Apply Outcome to All button to mass-update tasks:

    1. Select the Status: Choose the desired outcome type from the dropdown menu within the card.

    2. Apply Final Outcomes: If you select and apply a Final outcome, the app automatically applies it to all remaining, open work orders in the bundle.

    3. Apply Partial Outcomes: If you select and apply a Partial outcome, the app only updates work orders that do not yet have an outcome. (Work orders already marked as completed will remain unchanged).

Note: A confirmation pop-up will always appear before these mass changes are saved.

  1. Initiate Bundle Closure: Once all outcomes are recorded, tap the Close Whole Bundle button on the Outcome page. A summary screen will display which operations have recorded end times and which are still "open" (missing time records).

    1. If all operations already have properly recorded times, the bundle closes immediately, and you are finished.

    2. If any operation is missing a time record, a warning pop-up will appear, prompting you to proceed to Step 3.

  2. Resolve Missing Time Allocations: If prompted by the warning pop-up, you must choose one of two methods to allocate the missing time:

    1. Option A: Manual time allocation. Select this to return to the summary screen. You must manually tap into the open records and type in the exact start and end times for each missing operation.

    2. Option B: Weighted time allocation. Select this to let the system do the math. The app will discard any manual entries you attempted and automatically distribute the total overall execution time across all tasks, weighted proportionally according to the backend's target durations.

  3. Review and Confirm Closure: If you chose the weighted allocation, a final summary screen will display the resulting time distribution.

    1. Review the math to ensure it is accurate.

    2. Make any final manual adjustments to individual operation times if necessary.

    3. Tap Close Bundle to officially complete the work package and sync the data.
