The On Hold feature provides technicians with a dedicated space to manage suspended work orders, preventing them from being lost among completed tasks. By separating these items into a specific tab, users can quickly identify pending work and resume it with a single action, ensuring better tracking of partial outcomes.

To use the On Hold tab in the mobile application, an administrator must first enable the feature within the server-side configuration.

Understand the work order status
A work order is automatically categorized as On Hold and moved to the dedicated tab when specific conditions are met during field operations, including:
-
Partial Completion: At least one operation within the work order is completed with a partial outcome.
-
Suspension: The remaining work cannot be finished immediately and is left in a suspended state.
-
Visibility: Once these conditions are met, the On Hold tab will automatically appear in the mobile app. If no work orders are currently suspended, the tab remains hidden to reduce clutter.

The On Hold tab acts as a filtered view, showing only the items that require further action to be fully completed.

Select the On Hold tab from the top navigation bar.
