Use the saturation monitor

View fixed appointments and residual availability per time slot and booking period. Bridge the gap between capacity-based simulations and real-time scheduling constraints.

Prerequisites

Before you start:

Find the OC saturation

To search for a simulation:

  1. Open the Saturation monitor.

  2. In the top section of the window, access the search filters.

  3. Select an active simulation from a specific Operation Center (OC).

    Note: The Operation Center is a mandatory field for the search. Only “By fixed configuration” grid are show

  4. To refine your search, use the optional filters:

    • Simulation: Choose from the active simulations registered for the specified OC.

    • Zone: Choose from the zones defined for the selected active simulation.

    • Sub zone: Choose from the sub-zones defined for the selected zone.

    • Start date: Choose the beginning date for the calendar display.

    Note: If a Start Date is not specified, the system automatically defaults to the present date.

  5. Click SEARCH.

Review Simulation Results

To monitor daily availability and resource utilization:

  1. In the main grid of the Zone saturation monitor, view the availability of the sub-zone grids organized by time slot.

  2. To shift the displayed timeframe, click the moving period button to navigate by the previous/next week or month.

  3. Examine the grid structure. Each Day/Slot intersection box provides three columns related to capacity levels:

    • ORD: Ordinary availability.

    • OV1: First level overbooking.

    • OV2: Second level overbooking.

  4. Verify the visual status indicators:

    • Green bar: Indicates that the capacity is entirely free.

    • Red bar: Shows the percentage of capacity already occupied by appointments (including temporary ones).

    • Residual capacity number: Indicates the remaining slots compared to the original total percentage.

This main interface allows you to access dedicated deep-dive views and advanced editing tools. By clicking the toolbar buttons or right-clicking on a single simulation day, you will be redirected to the respective dedicated pages:

View real daily plans

To switch from simulated grid profiles to live operational schedules:

  1. At the bottom-left of the main interface, click the Operations submenu.

  2. Click the Real Daily Plan button to navigate directly to the active live daily plan.

View virtual daily plans

To switch from simulated grid profiles to virtual plan:

  1. At the bottom-left of the main interface, click the Booking model Daily Plan submenu.
