Help operations managers and warehouse operators control when warehouse movements are executed after delivery confirmations from external systems (like SAP). Ensure strict governance over physical inventory operations, and accommodate both fully automated or manually controlled processing workflows.
Initialize configuration
To initialize the configuration, enter:
-
Parameter Name:
company.fsm.inventory.procurementRequest.initialDeliveryStatus. -
Allowed Values:
ON_HOLDorIN_PROGRESS. -
Default Value:
IN_PROGRESS.
Initialize PR header
To initialize the PR header, enter:
-
Field Name:
Delivery Status -
Visibility: Always visible on the PR header.
-
Editability: Strictly read-only.
-
Possible Values:
-
On Hold -
In Progress -
Done
-
-
Initialization: Upon PR creation, the system automatically sets the
Delivery Statusbased on the value defined in thecompany.fsm.inventory.procurementRequest.initialDeliveryStatusproperty parameter.
Monitor PR
To quickly identify requests that need manual operator intervention, use a Delivery Status filter to sort by:
-
All(default). -
On hold. -
In progress. -
Done.
Unlock an available delivery status action
Important: This is visible only for:
-
PRs currently in the
On Holddelivery status. -
PRs with a header status like:
-
Fully satisfied. -
Partially satisfied. -
Not satisfied.
-
To unlock delivery status action to Availability:
-
Go to the PR row menu.
-
Click on the PR detail view.
Upon execution, it manually updates the Delivery Status from On Hold to In Progress. Since the PR header’s status is a final status, this action instantly triggers the warehouse movement task.
Ensure the right status
The core logic governing physical warehouse movements relies on a strict combination of statuses.
Understand warehouse movement logic
Important: The Warehouse Movement task is executed only if both of the following conditions are simultaneously met:
-
The PR must be in one of the following statuses:
-
Fully delivered. -
Partially delivered. -
Not delivered.
-
-
The delivery status field must be
In Progress.
Understand event triggering
Introduce a configurable parameter to decide whether a procurement request (PR) automatically triggers warehouse movement tasks once it receives a final delivery status or if it remains "On hold" until manual review. The system continuously listens for state changes and triggers the warehouse movement task whenever either condition changes to complete the requirement:
-
The PR reaches a final status and the
delivery statusis alreadyIn Progress.
OR
-
The user executes the Unlock action to change the
delivery statustoIn progressand the PR is already in a finaldelivery status.
Complete the lifecycle transition
After the warehouse movement task completes its underlying logic successfully, the system automatically evolves the delivery status to Done.
